Before she became Head of Care at Linden House, Lin Lee did her research. Having qualified as RMN and worked on various dementia and mental health units, she was looking to advance her career.
“The ethos of care is very important to me,” said Yorkshire-born Lin. “I wanted the right position in the right company. I spoke to a recruitment agency, looked at the Colten Care website and reviewed all the CQC reports on the homes. I did a lot of reading and I thought this is somewhere I could work. It was clear there was substance behind the ethos of care, not just words.”
Lin said she was impressed by the welcome at our Lymington dementia care home, adding: “Everybody has been really supportive and the communication between teams is fabulous.”
Her aims are to continue to ensure we provide a high level of care, including palliative, supporting Linden’s status as the ‘go to’ place for dementia care in the New Forest.
Lin has seven grown-up children and eight grandchildren. In what spare time she has, she enjoys cooking, horse riding and travelling.
