Welcome to our autumn edition which recognises a number of ways we are preparing for the future.
We have articles about a forward-thinking conference designed to equip our team for the dementia care needs of a steadily ageing population.
We highlight progress with our forthcoming Chichester home, Wellington Grange, and ongoing refurbishment of Abbey View in Sherborne.
At the same time, we explain how we are embedding the feedback from our latest residents and relatives’ surveys to shape our approach to many aspects of care and service.
In a similar listening vein, we are acting on a relative’s suggestion about how best to communicate when decisions need to be taken on a resident’s behalf. We thank this family for taking the time to offer their thoughts.
I would also like to highlight here the start of construction work on our new offices and warehouse space in Ringwood which we plan to have operational in September next year. We will say much more about this in due course but for now we are delighted to be putting spades in the ground.
I hope you enjoy reading our autumn Chronicle. As ever, if you have any feedback or know of a story we’ve missed, please tell us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
