Recognised with external awards success this winter our interior design team is responsible for keeping the interiors of all our homes looking great and creating new, exciting spaces for each of them.
Head of Design Georgina Colwell says: “We have seen first-hand the hugely positive effect a well-designed space has on the well-being of everyone who lives and works in our homes. When designing new homes we are constantly striving to raise the bar, using innovation and technology to keep us ahead of our competitors, and deliver a home that we would all want to live in.”
Here we catch up with Georgina to find out a little more about her.
Career history: I studied fashion design, and started working for the designer Hussein Chalayan. I then stepped sideways into fashion PR, working in the PR department for DAKS, a role which evolved into creating their advertising. After that, I moved to the agency Bell Pottinger, running one of the creative advertising departments, where my clients were large international pharmaceutical companies such as GSK and Astrazeneca. When I left London I went back to my family roots of interior design and joined Colten freelancing at first, before taking up my current role.
Interests: Yoga, horse riding and city breaks with the girls.
