Architectural role with designs on quality

Madalitso Alfazema

Our newly appointed Group Architect Madalitso Alfazema (Mada for short) is responsible for leading the architectural design and development process for our future homes.

A RIBA-qualified architect with more than 15 years’ experience in residential design, he has worked as a senior architect, team leader and project and development manager.

Born in France, Madalitso lived in Malawi and Zimbabwe before coming to the UK. He  studied architecture at Greenwich University and Oxford Brookes University and went on to do an MSc in energy efficiency and sustainable building.

Madalitso, who describes himself as an ‘avid learner’, said: “At Colten, my focus is on design quality and project management. I’m looking forward to working closely with all the different departments to deliver what we are here to do, which is to help people and give them care and nursing that is much better than they expected.”

Madalitso lives in Blandford with his wife Sarah and two daughters. He is a regular at the gym and has trained in several martial arts, including karate and taekwondo. He is also one of the leaders at a local church.
